The views from my window as we travel the scenic route north to Campbell River
One stop along the way to do some antiquing and eat delicious things. Yes, we had sweet crepes for lunch bc what are holidays for if you can’t eat dessert for lunch.
You know how we always try the local cuisine wherever we go? Well the local delicacy here is a dish called Poutine which, has been recommended numerous times so tonight at dinner was out much anticipated go at Poutine. And well it IS yum but we already know this in Australia, we just call it chips and gravy. Okay they add a bit of pizazz with what they call squeaky cheese (halloumi) but basically … chips and gravy.
We went for a very short, chilly walk after dinner and then back to the hotel to admire the sunset and prepare for our bear hunting adventures tomorrow where I will have no connectivity so see you in a couple of days my lovelies.
