hello Hawaii

 so ...

it's been a (covid) minute ...

we were just about too launch off to Canada, Alaska and Cuba in 2020 when the world started sneeze and every one took one giant step to the left, tilting the earth on its axis just a little bit.

whilst I'm not convinced of sufficient course correction there does seem to be some hints at life resuming, all things Russian despot not withstanding, and the Allans are abroading again ... albeit not the adventurous aforementioned Alaska etc. trip. 

we're off to Hawaii tomorrow.

I know - tropical paradise right? not your average AllansAbroad as in no snow at all but there will be family and relaxing and the wonderful excitement travelling again. Whilst we're looking forward to dipping our toes in and experiencing travelling in the pandemic-world, if the paper work/hoops we've had to jump through so far are anything to go by I'm guessing travel could now be even more fascinating/frustrating/exhilarating/exhausting (I'll let you know which adjective applies in a couple of weeks).
