Day 25 Grundlsee

I'd never get tired of this morning view

Such a glorious sun-shiny -8° day, so welcoming, so come out here, so that’s what we did. Firstly we cruised around Grundlsee lake.

And then we followed some friendly advice and went for a wander around the gorgeous, world heritage listed town of Hallstatt, known for salt production dating back prehistoric times (that's what Wikipedia tells me anyway). It certainly looked ancient in spots, practically dripping history.

The 900 inhabitants live with their backs to these mountains in homes hugging the shoreline surrounding the lake. Space is at a premium, I guess the only way to go was up until they reached capacity.

If you don't want to work in Bad Aussee girls how about Hallstatt ... or maybe one in each place!  Then I would have a really good excuse to pack the boys up and visit this part of the world.
