the view from my window this morning
We got up at ugly o'clock to catch this plane at 8am (ie be at the airport by 6:30abloodym). Those of you who know me can extrapolate and will, I'm sure, understand just how much work MGM had to put into getting us on this plane. He got up, dressed, packed and was out of the room before I could even open the other eye. He checked us out, got bus tickets, packed stuff in the car, got me and the luggage on the bus before my eyes were focused.
I admit it was a struggle to stay awake long enough to get on the plane, not helped at all by disgusting airport coffee, where I could sink back into blessed oblivion. Joy oh joy I've got another one of these early mornings in acouple of days - future Wendy's problem. For now though I am enjoying snow falling in blessedly cold Tromso.
Take a quick look at the trip tracker link and you'll see we're as far north as we can possibly be and still be on land, cool both physically and metaphorically ;)
here's a sample of what we're seeing...
and we may or may not have found another library (okay we did)
here I am in my oh so cozy new snow jacket (MGM got it for me, I love him)
here's MGM, this is the way he does libraries
here he is again, photobomber extraordinaire (one for MA)
did you notice the light changing? we walked this part if the city in the two hours of 'daylight'.
then back to our hotel (first white building) for lunch, where all meals are included!
this is the view of the habour when the snow stopped.
