Even though severe weather was forecast Monica and Evan were happy to take us on a guided tour of Stockholm and then drive for almost an hour north to visit more cousins. I am in awe of the cool, calm and collected Evan who seems completely unflappable and who drove us around through snow and over icy roads without tiring or missing a beat.
Stockholm is a beautiful and regal city…

We were just in time for the changing of the guard at the King’s Palace…

here we are arriving at cousin Stig’s house, as you can see little Nikita loves the snow!
