and then there was snow

The view from my window this morning. Pre-dawn, how can this be me?

This morning, not long after this PRE - DAWN shot was taken, we bid a fond farewell to our suite on the Costa Luminosa - home for the last seven days. We were soon on our way, after some 'discussions' with the Europecar people about what we were and were not going to be driving to the Dolomites, for a day of driving through the Italian countryside. Arriving at the very pretty Alpine town of Madonna Di Campiglio complete with a fresh dusting of snow.

We settled in, and then some of us went straight out for a walk (everyone else), while others napped (me). 

We had our staff meeting and then ventured out for dinner.
